DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS
The list is obtained from the VFS website.
  • Application Form
    signed and completed
    Applications of minors have to be signed by their legal guardian
  • Passport
    valid at least 3 months beyond the expiration date of the requested visa (exit of the Schengen Area), at least 2 blank pages

    copy of all pages (with visa and/or stamps)
    Immigration Officers require it to have at least 6 months validity
  • If traveling with spouse and/or children
    PSA Marriage Certificate and/or Birth Certifcate
  • Passport-sized Picture
    Not older than 6 month, format 3,5 x 4,5 cm, color, no photoshop rework, light background, complying with ICAO guidelines, glued on the application form.
  • Proof of Financial Means
    Bank certification (original), bank books, personal bank statements showing regular income, credit card statements or balance covering the last 6 month.

    For minors: proof of parents or legal guardians' economic means.
  • Travel Itinerary
    Copy of the round-trip airline reservation (travel itinerary), issued on the name of the traveler with complete itinerary.

    Proof of accommodation: booked accommodation
  • Proof of ties in the Philippines
    Proof of social security contributions, if relevant
    Copy of real estate property (title-deed), if relevant
    Proof of family ties in the Philippines (e.g. birth certificate of children or marriage certificate) which should be issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)
  • Proof of Occupation
    If EMPLOYED
    • Certificate of employment
    • Certificate of leave of absence
    • Latest income tax return

    If SELF-EMPLOYED:
    • Proof of company registration issued by the Department of Trade Industry (DTI) or Securities Exchange Commission SEC

    If PUPIL/STUDENT:
    • Proof of enrollment
    • certificate of leave of absence if traveling during school year.
  • Proof of Health Insurance
    The insurance has been taken out in your name, valid for ALL Schengen countries and for the full duration of the intended stay, with a minimum coverage sum of 30.000,- Euro, travel insurance cannot be accepted if it excludes the coverage of a pandemic illness.

  • Visa
    A visa, residence permit or passport which gives entry to your final destination after your visit to the Schengen area.
  • Visa Fee
    90,- Euro (adults) and 45,- Euro (minors from 6-12 years)

    No visa fee for minors below 6 years and for spouses or minor children of EU nationals residing in Austria

    plus service fee of VFS, payable in Philippine Pesos on the application day at VFS.

Apart from the visa fee, there is also a logistics fee of 19 Euros or Php 1,175.00 payable to VFS Services Philippines Pvt Inc upon booking the appointment.
